THE LANCELOT  EDITORIAL POLICY
The Lancelot is Waterford High School’s student-run newspaper produced for the Waterford High School community.

Its purpose is to engage, inform, and provide an open forum while reaching for the highest levels of journalistic integrity.  The Lancelot will not publish unprotected speech, such as libel, obscenity, or words that would disrupt the school process.  The Lancelot will not engage in copyright violations or unwarranted invasion of privacy.  Views expressed in editorials are the views of the editors, and are not necessarily those of the faculty or administration.

Letters to the editor should be submitted to adviser Stephanie Hartell or a Lancelot staff member.  Anonymous letters will not be printed and we reserve the right to edit all letters for mechanics, length, style, clarity, and appropriateness.

All content decisions are made by The Lancelot student staff.  Mrs. Hartell supports and instructs The Lancelot staff.
