Let Me Hear Rhyme- Tiffany D. Jackson

Let Me Hear Rhyme is an eloquent book written by New York Times bestselling author Tiffany D. Jackson. Jackson tells a story through the daily struggles of friendship in summer city life in 1998, when Brooklyn teens, Quadir and Jarell, decide they are going to keep their friend’s memory alive by making their late friend, Steph, into a famed star pretending as though he was still alive. While making his name known they are trying to solve his murder case surrounding his death. This book includes a series of relevant delicate topics that go on in New York every day, such as gang affiliation, drug use, underage drinking, smoking, and consent discussions, but I can guarantee this is a good read.
