The Varsity Field Hockey season started September 12th with a game against Stonington. This year’s captains are seniors Molly Quiles and Jessica San Juan. The team currently has a 0-5 record; however, the team hopes to change that in upcoming games. Several players have contributed meaningfully in games. Some notable players include seniors center mid Molly Quiles, forward Jessica San Juan, goalie Nini Yangga, and Kasey Kirchoff.  “We have a new team with lots of new players. We had a rough start. . . but we’re improving every day. . . I strongly believe we are a better team than our record and a team chemistry like no other,” Molly Quiles explains. The team’s next game is October 8th at Old Saybrook.
