Captains: Max Petrini & Matthew Shampine 

Shampine says, “Playing music in the locker room before games and getting excited to play is definitely one of the most exciting parts of game day.”

Captain: Lucas Vincenti 

Vincenti says, “We’re hoping to improve on consistency—the sky’s the limit with this team.  We have a very solid top six when healthy.  We just need to learn how to consistently play well under pressure.”

Captain: Porter Watson

Watson’s favorite team ritual is “[eating at] pasta dinners before home games.  The moms make good mac and cheese.”

Senior Katie Jamroga says, “We’ve moved up to ECC Division I since last season, so we’re playing more competitive teams more often, but our team is looking really strong and ready to get after it.”

Jessuck’s favorite team tradition is “always [doing] a puzzle that Mr. Walker makes.  It shows how everyone is an important part of [the] team.”

Olsen is “looking forward to improving [the team’s] record.”

Maiese is “looking forward to invitational meets.  [They are] a great opportunity for people to set personal records and learn racing technique.”

Bertrand says, “Our East Lyme matchups this year will be exhilarating.  Last year, we lost to East Lyme 2-5 in our first match but beat them 4-3 in our second.”

Siu says, “We have pasta dinners and try to plan an end of year event, like one year when we went to play at grass tennis courts.”
