Whether a sunglass rookie or a seasoned vet, Sunglass Paradise located in the Olde Mystic Village is full of a great selection and excellent customer service perfect for everyone.
Not knowing what to expect I walked from the main part of the village across the parking lot to the other plaza. After walking past Alice in the Village, I went underneath a tunnel-like overhang branching off from Dharma Jewel and the Ice Imports to pop out in front of Sunglass Paradise.
The shop is relatively small but has enough room to get the job done. I was greeted almost immediately by a kind woman who soon helped me try on almost every single pair of glasses to find the right fit. She also asked me my budget, what I would use them for, and even trusted me to walk outside with them to really test them out. They have top end brands like Prada, Versace, Oakley, Ray Bans, Maui Jim, but also more budget friendly options like GOODR, Suncloud, and Abaco. I say that it is the same price in store as online. For example, the Oakley Neoforma glasses are $160 online and in the store they are $160. Aside from just sunglasses they do have some accessory items.
I would say that the number one thing about Sunglass Paradise is 100% the customer service. The lady used her knowledge to help me pick out the right fit for my face and activity. There are tons of mirrors spread out throughout the little shop making it easy to view what looks best. The wide selection of choices made it hard to pick which pair I liked the best. I was going for more of an outdoorsy type of look, but there are plenty of choices for casual and formal events. I mainly tried Oakley, but also tried Ray-Bans and Maui Jims. I felt very welcomed and had an amazing time trying on around 20 different pairs to get the right ones.
