2021 has been a huge year for the gaming industry, raking in almost 200 billion dollars in revenue and 3.24 billion players globally. With multiple franchises getting new releases such as Halo or Battlefield, which game is better and what’s new about them? In the new Halo game, Halo: Infinite, the developers at 343 Industries made the online multiplayer part of the game completely free or you can purchase the story mode for $60 and catch up with the Master Chief. In EA’s Battlefield 2042 you can fight futuristic battles or fight on the beaches of Normandy with the brand new portal gamemode, Battlefield 2042 will cost around $50. If you’re limiting yourself to one new purchase, Battlefield 2042 is still in early development and has some glitches. Halo is a more polished game, though the new release lacks any serious updates from the previous release.
