On Friday, December 9th, Waterford High School participated in Pajama Day. Although pajama day is everyday for many students, on Friday, they wore sleep attire while also raising funds for Connecticut Children’s. Students who chose to wear pajamas were asked for a donation of $1 or more. The total sum of $812.75 went toward children battling childhood cancer, who stay in their pajamas during the day while undergoing treatments.

Waterford High School’s ability to join together for a cause was showcased this past Friday, as the majority of students made a contribution. The prior year’s total was $602.50, meaning that our students and staff successfully joined together to exceed our donation goal. Hopefully next year, the total will be even higher.
