There are a lot of upcoming movie releases that students are excited about this year. Social media has been full of trailers, theories, and discussions about new movies coming out. A few movies that have been getting attention are Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Backrooms, and Obsession.

One of the biggest movies coming out this year is Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Marvel fans have been waiting for another release ever since Spider-Man: No Way Home came out. Another film grabbing attention is Obsession. The physiological horror movie has sparked conversations because of its mysterious plot and unexpected twists. Without revealing spoilers, the plot follows a wish that begins to have serious consequences, creating tension throughout the movie. Obsession keeps viewers interested by building suspense and making them question what is going to happen next. Layla Madry explains, “I really liked the movie and recommend it to any horror fans”.

Many people enjoy movies like Obsession because they encourage viewers to think about the story instead of just watching the events happen. Physiological thrillers often leave people discussing theories and this helps the movie gain popularity among fans who enjoy watching these kinds of movies. 

Just these three films alone are only the start of exciting movies happening this year. New action films, horror movies, and sequels are also expected to get more audiences.
