Saturday Night Fever

Dance Club adviser Paula MacDougall did it again. She put together another fun and touching dance club performance.

The show was extra special this year with not only the usual tear-jerking moments of saying goodbye to the seniors, but the special piece that honored Waterford servicemen and women, past and present..

Sophomore Hannah Rood explained how she “looked up to [the seniors’] leadership. They are a very talented group.”

Junior Marisa Boch added that “seniors Alexa Vocalina, Melina Rosa and Taylor Miller have even choreographing since their sophomore year.”

“Dance club was such an important part of my time in highschool and I’m going to miss the performances and my fellow dancers very much,” said senior Kayla Richardson.

McDougall’s Paula emotional piece dedicated to the men and women who are fighting or have fought for our country was the other highlight of the March show.

Intern Ms. McGuire said, “The dance was important to highlight and respect the citizens of Waterford who have helped keep our country safe.”

The appearance on stage of the active servicemen and women, and veterans added to the impact of the number.
