    Vendor Fair at WHS

    Vendor+Fair+at+WHS

This Sunday, December 3rd, Waterford High School will be hosting a Vendor Fair. The junior class organized the fair with Ms. Bono alongside Ms. Force in order to fundraise money for events such as prom. Ms. Bono teaches photography and digital design and is one of the teachers in charge of National Honor Society. Ms. Force is a math teacher and coach at Waterford High School.

The fair is a perfect opportunity to support student artists and prepare for the holidays. It is family friendly and perfect for anyone wanting to explore local businesses.

Over 60 local businesses will be selling goods. Ms. Bono’s business, Creativity in CT, and her sister’s business, Bark and Needle, will both have booths at the fair. Creativity in CT sells a variety of handmade earrings and Bark and Needle creates the perfect goods for pets and their owners. Other craftsmen such as Highland Crafts and Bling me Up! will also be there. You will get the opportunity to shop and eat food while exploring the numerous booths. A raffle is also being organized so look forward to fun prizes!

The National Art Honor Society will also be helping out at the fair. Students will be running a face painting table and a crafts booth. These booths will be free and are perfect for children to have fun and get creative. Students will also be selling handmade ornaments and holiday cards. The Art Honor Society has been working hard to create the perfect holiday gifts to start off the winter season. Even if you can’t buy anything, visiting the art students is still a great way to show support and raise the holiday spirit!
