Spring Break In Europe

As April 11th approaches, many students are buzzing with excitement over upcoming travel plans. On this date, a group of students will be departing for a nine-day trip through Northern Europe. The cities included in the tour are Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, and London, included will be a one-day excursion to the Palace of Versailles. Mr. Cheney, the lead chaperone of the trip, will be accompanied by Mr. Collins, Ms. Kindel, and Ms. Tessier.

Jennifer Kohl, a junior, is one student enthralled by the upcoming trip, “I feel beyond excited about going to Europe. It will definitely be an amazing experience. All I can think about this week is the trip.”

Among the students going on the trip, ardor is a common emotion. For a large majority, it will be either their first time in Europe or their first visit to another county. For some, it will even be their first time on a plane. As a result, there is a collective sense of enthusiasm.

However, the little time before the departure date has caught some students off guard. Now they’re finding themselves scrambling to prepare for their trip.

Asia Langley, a junior, has unfortunately realized that stress goes hand in hand with packing: “There’s so much to do, and every week goes by so quickly. I’m also going to need a big suitcase because I tend to pack a lot, even for just weekend trips.”

The stress of packing and preparation is a small price to pay for a chance to travel through Europe. The teachers and students attending the trip will have an especially memorable spring break.
